Hande Soral was born on 2 February 1987 in İnegöl, Bursa, and studied psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University. Her acting career started in 2008, when she was picked from the audience of the comedy show Komedi Dükkanı and invited on stage. A producer offered her work and she soon got the lead in Küçük Kadınlar (2008 to 2011).

She then appeared in Yılanların Öcü, Kalbim Yangın Yeri and İsimsizler, and joined the fifth season of TRT 1‘s Diriliş: Ertuğrul as İlbilge Hatun (2018 to 2019), her best-known role abroad. She later played Ümit Kahraman in Bir Zamanlar Çukurova (2021) and led atv’s Ateş Kuşları as Mercan Ateş across 54 episodes (2023 to 2024).

She has been married to the actor İsmail Demirci since 2017 and their son Ali was born in 2022. In September 2026 she returned to TRT 1 as a co-lead of Evlilik Güzeldir, playing Zeynep Bahtiyar, the eldest of five daughters of a marriage registrar.
