Biography
Burak Çelik was born on 21 July 1992 in Istanbul‘s Eyüpsultan district, to a father from Ordu and a mother with Balkan immigrant roots. After high school he worked in his father’s parking business until a family friend suggested modelling.
In 2013 he won Best Model of Turkey and then Best Model of the World. He trained as an actor at the Sadri Alışık Cultural Center and at Atölye Craft, and made his screen debut as Serdar in Karagül, staying for 100 episodes.
He went on to play Selim in Söz, Mahir in Sevgili Geçmiş and Emir in Senden Daha Güzel. His breakthrough was Kongar, later Göktuğ Bey, in Kuruluş Osman (2020 to 2022), followed by Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam. He is 1.91 m tall and does his own stunts. He married Ayşenur Özkan in 2013 and they divorced in 2015; he married Ece Bayrak in 2024. In 2026 he joined Kanal D‘s Haysiyet as Tarık Tarman.
