Yiğit Uçan is a Turkish actor best known for his role as Boran Alp in the historical drama Kuruluş: Osman. Born on December 11, 1987, in Istanbul, Turkey, he spent years working in smaller roles before finding his way into one of Turkish television’s biggest productions, where his portrayal of a loyal and courageous companion to Osman Bey made him a fan favourite.

Early life and education

Uçan began building his acting profile through a series of television appearances that gave him a well-rounded range before the Kuruluş: Osman opportunity arrived. He appeared in Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar (2015) and Tatlı Seyler (2017), roles that helped him develop his craft and gain visibility in the Turkish television landscape. Standing at approximately 180 cm, he brings a physical assurance to action-oriented characters. His role as Boran Alp — a trusted alp in Osman Bey’s inner circle — required both physical and emotional commitment, and Uçan has been part of the show’s ensemble cast since its early seasons.
