Biography
Emrah Altıntoprak was born on 6 August 1991 and grew up in Istanbul, where his father ran a tradesman’s workshop. He started acting in his high-school theatre club, continued at Eyüpsultan Municipality Theatre and in 2012 entered the Stage and Performing Arts department at Istanbul Bilgi University, graduating in 2017.
He worked in theatre as an actor, stage manager and producer and appeared in many commercials before his 2014 short film Drawings and Dreams. On television he was in Cinayet Masası İstanbul, Söz, the Netflix series Bir Başkadır, Menajerimi Ara and Masumlar Apartmanı, where he played Barkın.
His breakthrough was Mustafa Ünal, the gentle, family-minded character in Show TV‘s Kızılcık Şerbeti, which he played from 2022 to 2025. In 2026 he joined atv’s Aşk ve Taht as Kutluboğa, a Seljuk statesman, a very different part from the one he is known for.
