Biography
Gökberk Yıldırım was born in Ankara in 1991 and says his birthday is 17 July. He grew up in a modest family, got interested in theatre in middle school and, instead of going to university, trained privately with the acting coaches Deniz Gökçe and İnanç Yılan.
He started in daily dramas, including Deniz Yıldızı, Aşk ve Günah and a long run as Murat Balıkçı in Beni Affet (2014 to 2018). He then led Beni Bırakma as Yusuf (2018 to 2021) and Hicran (2022).
His breakthrough was Halil Fırat, the male lead of Kanal 7’s daily drama Rüzgarlı Tepe (2024 to 2025), which ran for 217 episodes. In 2026 he moved to primetime as Yağız in Kızılcık Şerbeti and appeared in the film Tatlı Maya. He is 1.85 m tall and unmarried, and moved to Istanbul in 2022. In September 2026 he joined Kanal D‘s Haysiyet as Tufan Karlıova, the elder Karlıova brother.
