Storyline
Altay Kurtoğlu is a man who knows where the bodies are buried — because he was there when some of them went down. As a former intelligence operative, he has spent his career inside the parts of Turkey’s recent history that nobody talks about publicly: coups, disappearances, political betrayals, and the long shadow of Cold War-era operations that never officially happened.
Yalnız Kurt uses a thriller structure to work through genuinely difficult material. The show moves between decades, connecting events that shaped modern Turkey through the eyes of one man who can’t leave any of it behind. It is dense, sometimes demanding, and rewarding for viewers willing to follow where it goes.
