Storyline
Susuz Yaz is a Kanal D drama adapted from Necati Cumalı’s novel of the same name, which Metin Erksan also made into a film. The story is set in the 1970s. Two brothers, Osman and Hasan, clash over land, water and power, and Osman’s love for Bahar pulls him into conflict with Hasan’s schemes.
The series is produced by Ay Yapım. Yusuf Pirhasan and Mehmet Can Bindal direct it, and Sema Ergenekon wrote the adaptation. Filming in Adana began on 7 October 2026, a day later than planned because of heavy rain. Kanal D has not announced the air date yet.
