Biography
Sarp Bozkurt was born on 4 October 1989. He first appeared on camera at ten through his cousin, the comedian Tolga Çevik. He graduated in industrial engineering from Sabancı University but chose comedy, and became a well-known name in Turkish improv.
He was a regular on Komedi Dükkanı and Arkadaşım Hoşgeldin, performing hundreds of improvised shows with Tolga Çevik, and later joined TOLGSHOW. International viewers know him as Erdem Şangay, Engin’s assistant, across 52 episodes of Sen Çal Kapımı (Love Is in the Air). His films include Hareket Sekiz and Bol Şans, and he wrote and starred in the 2024 sci-fi comedy Dünya Varmış.
He has been married to Ezgi Şimşek since 2016 and they have a son, Uzay. In 2026 he moves into drama with atv‘s Baba Yapım series Aynı Yağmur Altında as Bülent.
