Duygu Sarışın was born on 24 October 1987 in İzmir. She started studying fashion design at İzmir Ekonomi University but switched to the acting department at Dokuz Eylül University. She worked at the İzmir State Theatre before moving to Istanbul.

She made her television debut in 2011 in Cennetin Sırları and then appeared in Güneşi Beklerken, Kaçak Gelinler and Rengarenk. Her breakthrough was Commissioner Sema in the crime drama İçerde (2016 to 2017), opposite Çağatay Ulusoy. From 2017 to 2018 she played Burcu in Star TV‘s Ufak Tefek Cinayetler, and she later played Asya Gündoğan in Azize (2019), Gülendam in the Netflix film Kin (2021), Hande Alkanlı in Kızıl Goncalar (2023 to 2025) and a lead in Ben Leman (2025).

In 2026 she joined the seventh season of TRT 1’s Teşkilat as Nevin, alongside new cast members including Bensu Soral, Selim Bayraktar and Uğur Yücel. The season premiered on 20 September 2026.
