Biography
Bertan Asllani was born on 3 July 1990 in Skopje, North Macedonia, into an Albanian family. He started in music: he built his own studio at twelve, released his first album at thirteen and became a pop star in the Balkans. He also wrote songs for Turkish artists including Murat Dalkılıç, Demet Akalın and Gülben Ergen, and his Turkish single Damla Damla introduced him to audiences in Turkey.
The screenwriter Gani Müjde noticed him in that music video and cast him in Pis Yedili in 2013. He went on to Göç Zamanı, Kimse Bilmez, Evlilik Hakkında Her Åžey and Gecenin Ucunda, then played Alaz in NOW‘s Yabani from 2023 to 2025. With Rojbin Erden he won Best TV Couple at the 50th Golden Butterfly Awards.
In 2026 he played Dr. Toprak Sönmez in Doktor: BaÅŸka Hayatta and then took the co-lead role of Toprak in atv’s Mercan Köşk, which premiered in September 2026.
