Abdullah Cersel was born on 17 October 1998 in Istanbul and graduated from the theatre department of Istanbul University State Conservatory. Besides acting he has worked as an assistant director and production crew member, and has performed in plays such as Peter Pan ve Varolmayan Ülke.
His first screen credit was the 2019 short film Mahallenin Bazı Kedileri, in which he played Bahadır. In 2023 he played Karabey in TRT’s superhero series Süper Kahramanlar: Altay, and in 2026 he appears in the feature film Sultana as Ali Kemal.
He plays Bekir in Kanal D‘s Karakuyu, an OGM Pictures drama led by Onur Tuna and Özge Törer. Filming started in October 2026.
