Storyline
Cihan Albora is a man who left his small hometown for Istanbul, built a life there, and married a woman whose world is entirely different from where he came from. When the distance between those two worlds becomes impossible to ignore, Uzak Şehir begins its examination of what happens to a person when the place they came from and the life they built start pulling in opposite directions.
Running on Kanal D since November 2024, the series has reached three seasons and nearly one hundred episodes — a run that reflects consistent viewership and a story that keeps finding new angles. Ozan Akbaba leads as Cihan, with Sinem Ünsal as his wife Alya, and the show has established itself as one of the more emotionally grounded dramas currently on Turkish screens.
