Storyline
Adil Koçari is a man who has returned to the Aegean coastal town where he grew up with a mission that requires him to keep his real reasons hidden. Esme Furtuna is a woman whose family has deep roots in that same place and who has reasons of her own for not trusting strangers. Taşacak Bu Deniz is a drama set against the sea and the social fabric of a tight-knit community, where the past is never quite settled and new arrivals always carry implications.
TRT 1 launched the series in September 2025, and it has carried one of the stronger ratings for the network across its run. Ulaş Tuna Astepe and Deniz Baysal lead, and the Aegean setting — shot on location — gives the show a visual identity that distinguishes it from the studio-produced dramas that dominate the genre. 40 episodes across two seasons with a TMDB rating of 8.2.
