Daha 17

Şebnem Akkaya is 17. Her mother is in prison. Her father is doing his best with a situation that is far beyond what he was prepared for. And Şebnem is trying to be a teenager inside all of that — to have a life, to make choices, to figure out who she is in circumstances that keep making the simple things hard. Daha 17 is a coming-of-age drama that takes its young protagonist seriously rather than using her situation as a backdrop for adult storylines.

Kanal D launched the series in May 2026, and it has found an audience quickly — Nesrin Cavadzade as Şebnem is the engine the show runs on, and her performance has been one of the talking points of the current season. 18 episodes in and the show is building toward something. What that something is remains to be seen.
