Alina Boz received her first theater award for her performance in Palamut Zamanı, a production that was sold out throughout the entire season and also marked the first theater play written and directed by Çağan Irmak. The winners of the 10th Üstün Akmen Theater Awards, one of the most prestigious events in the theater world organized in memory of theater critic, journalist, and writer Üstün Akmen, have officially been announced. Alina Boz was honored with the award for “Most Promising Actress of the Year” for her role in Palamut Zamanı.


The Play Was Sold Out All Season
Palamut Zamanı, which premiered last November and became the first theater play written and directed by Çağan Irmak, brought together Ayda Aksel and Alina BAlina Boz’soz in leading roles.
The story focuses on the intersecting lives of two women and explores themes ranging from social media cancel culture to loneliness.
The play received tremendous attention from theater audiences throughout the season and became one of the most talked-about productions due to both its powerful story and impressive performances.
Because of its popularity, the play ran at full capacity throughout the entire season.
In addition to Alina Boz’s award, Palamut Zamanı also won:
