Storyline
Eylül is sixteen years old when her stepfather assaults her. Her mother doesn’t believe her. She takes her daughter to an orphanage and leaves. From that moment, Kırgın Çiçekler is a story about what the girls in that orphanage do with the situation they didn’t choose — how they look after each other, fight back against the people who wronged them, and build something resembling a family out of the wreckage of the ones they lost.
The show ran for three seasons on ATV and became one of the most-watched series of its time in Turkey. It is heavy subject matter handled with real care, anchored by a young ensemble cast and the character of Feride, the orphanage worker who becomes a lifeline for the girls. 113 episodes total, and a finale that still gets talked about.
