Biography
Halil İbrahim Ceyhan is a Turkish actor, model, singer and composer best known for playing Yaman Kırımlı in the Kanal 7 drama series Emanet (2020–2023). Born in Istanbul on December 13, 1986, he first made his name on the modelling runway before building parallel careers in music and acting that have kept him among Turkey’s most recognisable entertainers.
Early life and education
Halil İbrahim Ceyhan grew up in Istanbul, where an early fascination with fashion and performance led him toward the modelling industry. After finishing secondary school he competed on the national stage, winning the Most Promising Male Model title at the 2007 Best Model of Turkey competition — an award that opened doors across the country’s fashion scene. While modelling he quietly developed a second passion for music, writing and recording songs including Kaybettim and Kendini Bana Bırak that found listeners on Turkish radio.The transition to acting came in 2019, when he completed formal training and made his screen debut in the film Hemen Döneriz. The following year he was cast as Yaman Kırımlı in Emanet, a domestic drama on Kanal 7 that became one of the most-watched series on Turkish television. The role ran until 2023 and turned Ceyhan into a household name. He has since appeared in Kirli Sepeti (2023) and the 2024 drama Leyla, steadily broadening his dramatic range beyond the leading-man archetype that first made him famous.Awards and recognition
