Ebru Nil Aydın is a veteran Turkish actress whose career in theatre and television stretches back decades, giving her a depth of experience that shows in every role she takes on. Early life and education
Ebru Nil Aydın was born in the eastern Anatolian city of Ağrı and later relocated to Istanbul, where she has since made her home. She studied the performing arts formally, developing the technical grounding that has sustained a career spanning well over three decades. Her formative years in theatre shaped her approach to screen acting — an approach that values precision and interior truth over surface expressiveness.
She is married to actor and director Eren Yağmuroğlu, a partnership that has kept her connected to the heart of Turkey’s theatrical and television world.

Ebru Nil Aydın gained wide recognition through her long-running appearances in Behzat Ç: An Ankara Detective Story, one of Turkish television’s most acclaimed crime dramas, where she played the character Türkan across multiple seasons from 2010 to 2019. She also appeared in the 2016 romantic comedy series Şahane Damat as Suna. More recently she joined the TRT intelligence series Teşkilat — known internationally as The Shadow Team — in the role of Sacide Atmaca, appearing through 2022 to 2024 across 63 episodes. She also played Arzu in the 2022 film Godspeed. Her career demonstrates that consistent, craft-focused work earns lasting respect within the industry and among audiences.
