Biography
Okday Korunan, also credited as Oktay Korunan, was born on 5 January 1965 in Istanbul. He has worked as an actor in film and television for about four decades.
His credits include Salih in Cesur ve Güzel (2016 to 2017), Osman Şahin in Çocuk (2019), Mahmut in the digital series Saygı (2020), and the films Dayı: Bir Adamın Hikayesi (2021), Adı Sevgi (2022) and Akif (2023). In 2024 he appeared in the comedy series Prens.
In 2026 he joined Show TV‘s Sevdan Bir Ateş as Çakır Kızılırmak, Leyla’s father, who uses a wheelchair after the shock of his daughter’s disappearance seven years earlier.
