Ayşen Gürler is a Turkish actress, musician and television presenter whose varied career has spanned more than two decades and crossed several different entertainment formats. Born in Gaziantep in May 1979, she has demonstrated a versatility that extends beyond acting into music and presenting, making her one of the more multi-faceted figures in Turkish entertainment.
Early life and education
Ayşen Gürler grew up in Gaziantep, in southeastern Turkey, before completing her secondary education at Ankara Anıttepe High School. Her move through different cities reflects the mobility that characterises many Turkish performers of her generation who sought opportunities in the country’s major entertainment centres. She went on to build a career that has taken her from dramatic television roles to music and beyond.

Ayşen Gürler gained recognition through her role in Askına Eşkıya (2001) and went on to build a substantial television career. She is probably best known to international audiences for her role as Helen in Kuruluş: Osman, the long-running historical series about the founding of the Ottoman Empire. She also appeared in a cast role in the popular romantic comedy Erkenci Kuş (Daydreamer, 2018) and in the drama Room 309 (2016). More recently she has been attached to the upcoming series Kral Kaybederse (2025).
