Biography
Early life and education
Miray Naz Daner was born on January 15, 1999, in Istanbul, Turkey. She began acting as a child, an early start that gave her practical experience in front of cameras before most of her peers had entered formal training. She studied Acting and Theatre Studies at Beykent University in Istanbul — a program that provided academic grounding in dramatic theory alongside the studio training that professional screen performance requires. By her teenage years she was already an established presence in Turkish television, appearing in multiple popular series while simultaneously completing her degree. This combination of real-world professional experience and conservatory-adjacent academic training gave her a precocious professional maturity that is evident in her performances. She has one sister and remains unmarried.
Awards and recognition
Miray Daner achieved major national recognition at just seventeen through her role as Hilal in the historical drama Vatanım Sensin (My Homeland Is You, IMDb 8.4), winning Best Young Actress at several Turkish television award ceremonies in 2017. The scale of her recognition from that role was exceptional for her age and established her as one of Turkish television’s most prominent young talents. She followed with a lead role in the emotional drama Bir Litre Gözyaşı (2018) and built further on her thriller and drama credentials through the digital series Saygı (Helen, 2021). She played Zeynep in the prime-time drama Hudutsuz Sevda (2023) and appeared in Medcezir — Turkey’s official adaptation of the American series The O.C. — as Beren Beylice. By her mid-twenties she has a filmography that most actors twice her age would envy, and she remains one of the most closely watched developing careers in Turkish television.
