Halil İbrahim Ceyhan is at the Center of a Legal Scandal

Halil İbrahim Ceyhan, who joined the main cast of the series “The Life Thief” this season, has become embroiled in a legal dispute with his former agent. The conflict between the actor and his former manager, Öznur Kula, has been taken to court.

Agency Switch and Contract Details

After Ceyhan, the star of the series “Legacy,” secured a leading role in the popular project “Dirty Laundry,” he switched agencies, moving from Oyuncu Bankası, managed by Öznur Kula, to Be Management, despite having an ongoing contract. As a result, Kula filed two lawsuits through her lawyer, Begüm Şahin, in December of last year.

Lawsuits and Compensation Claims

The first lawsuit, filed against Be Management in the 20th Commercial Court of Istanbul, concerns moral damages related to unfair competition and includes a compensation claim of 300,000 Turkish lira. The second lawsuit, filed against Halil İbrahim Ceyhan in the 31st Civil Court of the Anatolian Side of Istanbul, involves the illegal termination of the contract and demands compensation of 30,000 dollars (approximately 1 million Turkish lira).

According to the contract signed by Ceyhan on February 1, 2020, with Oyuncu Bankası for three years, if the contract was not terminated in February 2023, it would automatically be extended for another three years. Both legal proceedings are ongoing.
