Early life and education
Bennu Yıldırımlar was born on November 22, 1969, in Istanbul, Turkey. This dual conservatory education, bridging Turkish theatrical tradition and British dramatic technique, gave her a range and authority that set her apart from peers who had trained exclusively within one system. She is married to actor Bülent Emin Yarar, and the couple have one daughter.
